We have had 43 presidents, starting with George.Washington, and now with George.Bush. I am also going to predict Barrack.Obama could be the 44th US president.

There have been 42 different men to serve as our commander in cheif but there have been 43 Presidents. Grover Cleavland served 2 non-consecutive terms after he was beat by Harrison after Cleavlands first term. Cleavland then beat Harrison for his second term.

Wikipedia has this really neat LIST OF PRESIDENTS (that's what you need to type into search). It tells you each one, their number, their party, vice-president, etc. and has a picture of each. Check it out.
