I have a pair of shoes that I sometimes wear that has slick/slippery soles. Some surfaces I walk on, mainly waxed or smooth floors, causes the shoe(s) to slide while I am walking causing me to have to catch myself to prevent falling. Is there something that can be pre-apply to the soles to prevent this from happening.

You can put these sticky sandpapery things on the bottom of your shoes you can buy them at Rackroom i think. Also you can put that white tape on your shoes and it keeps them from being slick.

The only thing I know is to use the shower appliques that keep you from slipping in the shower for your shoes I read it in a magazine a long time ago but have never tried it.
