Is it possible not to have it at all? Also, do you only get it around the time you are suppose to have your period or could it be anytime soon after you've conceived?

Most women do not have implantation bleeding. Only 1 in 5 women do. For those who do it occurs a few days or a week before you miss your period, since that's when implantation takes place.

Only 20-30% of women experience implantation bleeding. You would see it show up from 10-14 days after fertilization and it would be either brown or spotty light red. Because it's around that magical 14 day time period - some women mistake it for a really light period.

I don't know anyone who's been concious of having implantaion bleeding though.

It is definately possible not to have implantation bleeding. Most women never experience it. I suppose it could be within the first two weeks of conception but even then it is usually only spotting versus behaving like a period. If you're unsure you should talk to your doctor.

I'm almost 5 months. And I NEVER had any implantation bleeding or anything like that. I just woke up one morning and had this feeling like something was different. I went and got a test (we were trying) and sure enough it was positive! Good Luck!
