If you haven't missed your period yet and your hcg is 15 then I would say that you are pregnant. Congratulations!!!!*

It sounds like they did a qualitative hcg which means that under a certain level the lab reports it as negative. As your regular Dr to call in a script for a QUANTITATIVE hcg and that will give you a definite # instead of a yes/no. How many dpo (days past ovulation) are you? And yes you are correct on the hpts. A line is a line no matter how faint it is!!! She's a total moron! *EDITED TO ADD* I had a quantitative hcg of 29 on 16dpo so if their cut-off was 25(like usual) I would have been told it was negative too! Also after several + hpt's. I have seen a digital pick up an hcg level of 7.

If you haven't missed your period and your hcg is 15 then that means your baby just recently implanted. I would suggest you rest as much as possible because this part of your pregnancy is extremely important. It is important that you give your newly forming baby every chance to continue implanting. Don't do anything to make your baby "lose it's grip" on your uterus. Your hormone should be higher when you go back. That will mean that everything is proceeding. Also, a little spotting with no cramping is usually implantation bleeding. That makes sense considering your hormone level indicates that your baby just recently implanted. Congratulations!

Some women experience a little spotting during pregnancy. A little bit with no cramping shouldn't be anything to worry about.

Congrats on the pregnancy!!!!!

uhm same as the other posters... you're pregnant. That's what it means. It means when the time for your period is supposed to show up.. it won't. The body only produces that hormone if you are pregnant or are taking certian fertility drugs.

Any amount of hcg, no matter how small, means you are pregnant.

...

Unless you're a man, then it means you have prostate cancer.

Why didn't you just ask the doctor while you had him/her on the phone?
