Of course, just like anything else but in general the soldiers deserve our respect and admiration for protecting us and our interests.

If youre asking if I think that every soldier is a wonderful human being, then the answer is no.
In every group of people there are great ones and not-so-great ones. Same thing with the army. I know some former classmates of mine that are in the army, and I like most of them. But like I said, in every group of people theres always a few asses.
Are some of them there to serve their country? Yes. Are some of them there to pay to for their education? Yes. Are some of them there because they want to boss people around and shoot people? Yes.
Most soldiers I've met are quite decent human beings, but there are people in the Army who arent very decent. Remember Abu Ghraib? Those would be not-so-great people. Remember the My Lai Massacre? Those were also not-so-great people.
Point is, you can never generalize about any group of people and say things like "Theyre all great". Its just not true.

Yes there are good and bad soldiers. There are evil soldiers. They are the face of our country and we are judged by what they do. Some of their actions are a result of the situation that they are in and need to be judged by the circumstances.

Are there good people and bad people? Of course. Soldiers are just people who have chosen to serve in the military.

yes. Those soldiers that raped the 14yo girl then killed her along with the rest of her family certainly aren't "good" soldiers.

Of course there are both good and bad, just like society as a whole. But I asure you that there is a very small percentage as compared to society as a whole.
