You are correct, the Middle East is not a continent, it's just a term used to describe a geographical region.
Someone who has straight As has proved that they can pass exams; that doesn't mean they have an ounce of sense.

no the middle east is not a continent its part of the overall continent of Asia it is often reffered to as southwest asia.
