I received 2 small pairs of dress shoes for my son. They say size 5 and are definitely for a toddler or baby. At what age do they wear a size 5?

It really depends on how big the baby's foot is, rather than age. My son is 9 1/2 months and he has worn a size 5 for about 2 months now. In all fairness, people tell me has a rather large foot for his age though! He will make use out of them I'm sure. My son is starting to take assisted steps, and shoes seem to be helping him! Congrats!

Depends entirely on the kid. My first son was in a size 5 around 2, and my second is 21 months and in a size 6.

My son is 19 months old and he wears size 5, but not for too much longer. Around 17-18 months size 5 was perfect. Each child is different, of course, but I'd imagine it would be at least close to the same age. Good luck!

I have a 2-year old that wears a size 7 and a 4-year old that wears a size 10. It all depends on the child and how fast their feet grow.

I know kids who are 16 months and they wear a size 5. But it really depends on the baby.

I looked on the New Balance website yesterday trying to find my son some shoes and according to them, a baby's foot goes up a size on average every six months. But again, that's on average and every baby is different.
