There are lots of second hand Vauxhall Zafiras around at the moment, you could get a perfectly good one for between £6k and £9k. They have 7 seats but if you fold down the back 2 you have a 5 seater with a good size boot

Honda FR-V and Fiat Multipla are the only 6-seaters with decent boot space (both have two rows of three seats) that are not very long.
Most MPVs with more than 5 seats have three rows of seats, leaving little space for luggage with all seats in place.
The only other options are van-based cars, such as the Fiat Doblo family, Ford Tourneo Connect or the Fiat Scudo/Citroën Dispatch/Peugeot Expert Combi models.

For a great practical family car you should take a look at the Fiat multipla. It has acres of boot space and seats six people comfortably. It does look a bit ugly though.

not many present day autos have 3 seats around the front anymore. besides the fact that in case you will come across a motor vehicle with a bench seat like a Grand Marquis i don't think of they have 3 seat belts in front.
