Try looking at actorsaccess.com and backstage.com and searching for auditions in your area. You can also try checking out your state's film alliance website.

Good luck!

I would look up the city or state film commision see if they have any casting calls. Usally lower budget movies will look to film commisions to help cast thier movies. I would also check local colleges especially local film schools. The Student projects always need cast. Check a yahoo group there is one for my town.

Join an actor's workshop so you can find out when and where movies are being shot.

Read your local newspaper, they often post notices when movies are being filmed in a city.
