Load a diagnostic program on a floppy disk or CD and boot to it. That will allow you to check your hardware for problems.

either get an external hdd or flash disk go into the bios and select boot order go fdd cd usb hdd use an operating system disk go into safe mode it should load into memory if you have enuff
