kinda of like a 20th century witch, but with out-of style clothes ... and her broomstick doesn't have cruise control ...

????? I don't think they had an official uniform :) I imagine they looked like 16th century people. Also which country are you talking about? here is a link to a picture of people in western european 16th century dress

also if you are actually thinking more the classic American Colonial Witchunts- like "the crucible" then you actually mean the 1600s and not the 16th century (1600's is the 17th century)
in that case, here's a picture of the cast of the crucible acting their socks off

They are all dead, they don't look like much, and they not only didn't have websites, they didn't have cameras.
If you are talking about the "party line" on what witches looked like in the 16th century, its pretty much the same as the stereotype in action now for Halloween, older female, pointy hat, dressed in black, unattractive, angry.

No one was ever really a witch. Many people cried out witch just because they were not liked or looked different. A classic and a great example of this comes from a great novel known as "The Crucible". However, the women who were called upon were usually poor or middle class. Older women were often accused, however in later years younger women were accused too. Even later men were also called out to be a wizard

They would look like you or me. Heres a link to a witch selling a potion. Keep in mind that the Salem Witch trials didn't happen until 1692, or the 17th century.

Witch came from the word wit these were women of wisdom. People feared women who had the power to heal others. She looked like an older woman with gray hair and wisdom in her eyes, wore color to show her diversity and herbs in her hair to remind her of the power of the plants around her.

According to the religious rulers who hunted "witches" in the 16th century, they look just like the rest of us.
