I really need help!!! The thing is that i have an important exam(social studies) coming up and i'm studying like mad...but every time I revew i feel sleepy so i just give up and do something else. This happens all the time..that's why I always review in the morning before and during homeroom.

That happens to me all the time. I just think about how I'm going to feel when I receive a bad test grade.

You feel sleepy because you're not excited (to put it mildly) about studying for the exam. Review should always be done in a non-distracting environment. During homeroom, too much is going on and in the morning you're too rushed. Most importantly, review should always be done with someone else. Invite a friend to come to your house after school. Ask each other questions about what you've studied and then discuss the answers. You'll be surprised how long you'll be able to stay awake and alert. Good luck on the exam.

If your life depends on doing well on this test, i suggest you create a study group and head over to the university and look for a empty space (library, classroom, ect) where you and a couple of your friends can ask each other questions, do worksheets together, and take practice tests. I believe that working in small groups is perfect to keep you awake, just find friends who want to study, not those who want to mess around. Good luck on your social studies test!
