Why are there SO many more right wings here on Yahoo answers?

Every time I ask about anything political....there are always WAY more right wingers yelling crap and voting each other's answers as thumbs up.

Because they have nothing better to do and most right wingers are constantly on the internet since they lack work or quite simply put its trailer trash you're hearing.

Like lemmings,right wingers/conservatives/Republicans simply ape whatever right wing ideology is in vogue .Years ago it was slavery they were championing then refusing women a vote,fighting against social security,then medicare then fighting against the Civil Rights Act of the 60s and a hundred other dispicable anti-human agendas.

Leading the lemming pact of course are the monumentally hypocritical Christian fundies who on the one hand will NOT vote for nobody who supports a woman's right to abortion
but these same anti-Christs will vote for a Bush who LIE about the reason he led the nation into a war of choice with Iraq in which over 400,000 INNOCENT IRAQI men ,women and children have been slaughtered .

You are looking at the future of the country as more and more Americans get completely fed up with Obama and the democrat Congress. This is still a center right nation and YA simply reflects that fact. This election was just a reaction to a war which had become unpopular.

This is a tricky question...but it seems as though right wing dogma is the new language of the disaffected in the USA, just as left wing Populism was that language in the 1890s and early 1900s.

This too shall pass I suppose. But it would be nice to see a bit more civility wouldn't it?

It's simple. We're trying to bring some intelligence to this forum. If it wasn't for conservatives this would be just another skateboarder chat room. I suppose "yelling crap" is your way of characterizing views that don't agree with your's. Sooner or later you need to grow up.

It seems to depend on the time of day. I have noticed that there are way more right wingers on during the day and more lefties on in the evening. Guess the sound bite about liberals being unemployed isn't so nearly true after all. No big surprise there.

Trend surfing is OK, but I would ask that we all look at the opinions and find our own. To stick to an ideology is just kind of against all the freedoms we have. Support the troops and hate the war. The death penalty is good but pro choice. My point is most of the opinions are all mixed up anyways.

I think there are plenty of lefties and plenty of righties... it's called balance. There can be no discourse without having speakers on both sides...

Wow, it seems like it's just the opposite for me. I think it's safe to say that the mix here is about 50/50.

Wow open debate, is that a problem.... and I think if you pull the blinders off you'll see it's pretty even across the Left/Right spectrum... I get just as many thumbs up as thumbs down..

You might be surprised, but what you consider right-wing may not be as extreme as you imagine.

Also, you'll be surprised to discover that America is a fairly conservative nation. We don't believe in socialism. Maybe that's why you don't get the response you want. You're probably way out of the mainstream. Of course, if you live in Massachusetts or some other leftist bastion, you wouldn't realize how out of touch you are with the rest of the nation.
