I know some will probably use it on me, because I am pretty harsh towards liberals at times.
I won't be blocking ANYBODY, however, unless they make racist remarks.

Racism of any kind will not be tolerated.
Do not assume that because I am black, I am insensitive towards other ethnicities who are discriminated against.

None. Everyone has the right to their beliefs, I don't have to agree, I don't have to post, hell I don't even have to read it.

I haven't seen or heard anything so blatant that would prompt me to block someone.
Some walk a thin line.
I love free speech. And in that spirit, I couldn't use this feature, unless I feel an honest threat.
I truly love your approach to things!
Likewise, I feel racism is abhorrent, in any form.

I will not be using it.
It was the culmination of how to deal with serial stalkers on Y!A.
Yahoo was faced with legal issues and had to do something.
You see it is a federal felony to stalk women on Y!A and it is also a felony in all of our states as well. Yahoo had to address it or be complicit, pretty simple really.
As sway says, it will give Yahoo the opportunity to keep a closer eye on these wackos, the serial stalkers and allow them to remove them more quickly.

I am like you and will save this feature for the worst offenders. I think the act of blocking a person because I do not care for the message is wrong and undemocratic.

I consider the 1st answer, they could enforce it! however, i do no longer think of it would be complicated. i will get into all varieties of info on how this 'internet application works, the thank you to make it artwork (or how I -think of- imposing the characteristic could be finished) and what the tip person might see with my answer. yet, eh. it incredibly is for the employees, ne? ^_^ i might incredibly prefer to make sure that. i might hit "forget approximately approximately person" on everyone that asks stupid questions.

No one. After I discovered that Yahoo will be monitoring Blocked user lists, I think its just another way people can gang up to get other users suspended.
I will not use the feature.

I'm curious; will you block black people who make racist remarks against whites? Hispanics who make them against blacks? Or is this restricted only to all people who make racist remarks against black people?
I'm not being sarcastic; I'm genuinely curious - it speaks to your definition of the word "racist."
As for your question, I'll use it against trolls and stalkers. I have no need to block those whose opinion differs from mine; there is no interesting discussion if everyone agrees all the time.

Just trolls and racists. It would be boring to block everyone you disagree with - why even be here!
