I don't believe there is one example in the bible where Jesus said that someone should be forced to help someone else. Health care claims do not get denied so anyone can make money. They are denied because the medical procedure was not covered by the insurance plan purchased.

I think the point is that, as portrayed in the gospels, Jesus would have been against many of the ways we do things today, including the health care and insurance systems. Didn't he say something about selling your possessions, giving the money to the poor and following him?

You're confusing christs love with something we know as communism.
Christ did love everybody but that love was not expressed in the ways you're bring up. Did he feed the hungry? Yes. Did he heal the sick? yes. Did he take everyone elses money and then distribute it to the rest of the population? No.
Simply put, God also tells us that we have free will and, having such, are our own keepers here on Earth. That means we are responsible for our own actions and decisions. If someone chooses not to go to school and get an education and doing so can not afford health care, why should the rest of the nation pay for their bad decisions? If that were so no one would do anything at all because it would just be given to them.

You don't get. the insurance companies are in business to make money and the fewer claims they pay on the more they make. Don't blame the doctors and the medical staff, they deserve to be paid for the work they do. You need to look at the ones who abuse the system. Like lawyers and the insurance companies. How do you think John Edwards made him millions.

Jesus was a healer, who never turned anyone down.According to word,he actually cured the illness, unlike today's medicine men,who simply mask it over.I know many people who are insured, who get turned down for procedures that Insurance Companies consider experimental. Some require that you only go to certain doctors of their choosing. Most Insurance Companies deal in cure?,not prevention.Comprehensive, good Insurance is much too costly for a large percentage of Americans. Most Americans are living in a Country who has wonderful offerings, but like poor kids at the candy store window, all they can do is look.

I believe Christ believed in personal responsibility. So because I pay for my own Health Insurance $400 per month, and I don't want to pay for yopurs because you don't feel like it, I don't have Christ in me???
You and Hillary will get along well.....In Canada !!!

Sorry, but Liberals do not allow religion to be discussed in government issues. Separation of church and state and all that. You're going to have to ask why we don't want the government to take our money and inneficiently manage social works in a different way.

What is your point? Really try to create better questions. W. Bush talks to Jesus all the time, and Bush hasn't proposed any expansion of our health care system. Didn't Jesus tell W. to invade Iraq? Also, didn't Jesus say "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's"?
