My boyfriend and I are leaving for Vegas Monday morning. This will be our first time there. We are staying at Bally's. We are looking for suggestions on what to do, what to see, where to eat, etc. We are not big gamblers and like to be active. Please help!

1. Bellagio Fountains at night .
2. Fremont Street experience .
3. 2 Cirque shows in the same night , one late , one early , any and all are great .
4. Big Elvis at Bill's , 3pm or 7:30 pm , free & a good time
5. Sirens at TI , Volcano at Mirage , Lions at MGM , all free .
6. Bellagio Buffet , Rio Seafood Buffet , Wynn Buffet
7. Walk the Shops at Caesars Forum , have a drink & cigar at Casa Fuente / Shop while boyfriend sips & smokes
8. Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay .
Do all this and you won't have time to gamble , just enough time to get some sleep and start all over again .

Prepare for the heat. It will be a dry heat, but it will hit you hard when you walk out of that nice airconditioned Bally's casino.

In the evening (after it has cooled off a bit), just walk down from Flamingo toward Tropicana, and be totally "blown away" at all the fountains, lights, outside attractions in front of Paris, Bellagio, New York NewYork, and on to Excaliber and Luxor, etc.

The next night walk down the other way: Caesars fountains, Mirage volcano, Treasure Island ship battle.

The next night take a cab downtown to see the light show.

You can so everything I just suggested for free.

Each hotel has its own little show for entrainment...some don't cost money. There are thrill rides at Stratosphere, New York New York, Circus Circus. Go shopping or just hang out at the pool. If you want to take a day trip, you can go to Hoover Dam or Grand Canyon. They offer helicopter rides and things like that.

There are several things to do in Vegas besides gambling. I have taken my son (13 at the time) and he loved it.

Definitely check out the water show at the Bellagio (and they have an awesome buffet). Have fun ;)

First don't get overwhelmed and don't bet all your money at once see the town see the art see whatever just explore and venture I think you will find out a ton of stuff once you get there

yes, don't expect expect to win on just your first few spinsat those slot machines. The odds of winning a jackpot are mch worse than those casinos want you to think.

If you come to win more than you put in, chances are, you will be dissapointed.

EXPECT TO LOSE.

bring alot of money..there are plenty of good shows at all of the main hotels.. it just depends on what you are in the mood to see. all of the hotels have several restaurants in them. all of the hotels have different themes to them. So it really depends on what you want to do.. but it will be expensive for you..

Stay at a hotel on the strip. That way you can avoid taxis and walk wherever you want to go.
