Let me tell you that I feel your pain. I'm 16 weeks pregnant and still get really bad morning sickenss. I have to take medication b/c if I don't I throw up everything...I mean even water, then have to go to the er (which I hate doing) to get an IV. Everybodies body is different though, I mean my sister is pregnant and she only had morning sickness for ONE day. I hope that it is over for you soon enough. No one can really tell you how long your morning sickness is going to last though. Just keep calm and eat crackers and make sure to drink alot of fluids...especially water, you don't want to have to go through what I went though in the er. And honey, no, you are not the only one whose got it that bad...there are others :-). Good luck!

Awe honey I am so sorry! I am almost 25 weeks, and I had HORRIBLE morning sickness until about 13 weeks or so. I lost 10+ pounds and in all honestly hated my baby for getting me so ill everyday! But now I couldn't be more happy with my pregnancy and can absolutely not wait to have our little girl here! Ask your doctor about a zofran pump it's a life saver and completely safe for baby. I said at the beginning this would be my only child but now that the bad part is over I want more, and remember every pregnancy is different. keep your head up it will get better!

You will probably have morning sickness until the end of the fourth month. I have known some people to have morning sickness through the whole pregnancy. If it is too bad your obgyn will probably give you some medicine for it if he/she feels fit. My sister had this weird theory about morning sickness, she said that if the morning sickness is bad then you will be having a girl. This is my third pregnancy and it was awful. Just a week ago I found out I was having a girl. How odd is that.

Most of the time morning sickness will stop around the ending of the first trimester. I've known some people who end up having it longer. I am thankful that I did not suffer from this at all.

No you are not being sigled out. My little sister has been hospitalized 4 times since she got pregnant and she is now 4 months along and her morning sickness is now going away. Just eat saltine crackers and have plenty of water. If you are still felling awful after 4 months I would recommend saying something to your doctor the next time you see them.

With my daughter I had a slight gagging sensation and that was that. My point is that every pregnancy is different. With my son I was sick so much 15-25 times a day that they put me on a chemotherapy drug to control it and it lasted until he was 2 weeks old.

If you are that ill call your OB and explain what you are feeling and if you do have Hyper Emesis they may be able to help.

It took me about 4 months for my morning sickness to go away but the truth is everyone is different and it pretty much varies

I didn't have it at all. Some people have it the whole way through. Not saying that you will, just saying everyone is different. Hang in there and try to concentrate on this wonderful little person growing inside you! Good luck and congrats!
