You might try Walmart or Target. They are cheaper than they are at electronic stores.

I would suggest walmart. The cheaper models have less security and can there for be easily hacked to allow dvd copying and region free

I bought one at Walmart. It was really cheap, I think it was no more than $30.00. It is very simple, but works great.

although I understand you want to buy something inexpensive. I would stay away from non-name brand equipment.
