An atrocious waste...But...I think the jews have also overcome their past too and became successful they are not walking around whining about apropiations and demanding money from the German Government....hmm...I wonder whom I could be speaking of....I think it was as usual someone pointing the finger at someone else for their problems....we may not be burning or gassing people but the holocaust to a certain degree still looms very closely....

To be thought of as vermin, to be killed like some unwanted rats, is a terrible thing that was done by a madman. We should never forget the lessons learned by it and never, ever let it happen again. The extermination of the Jews was one segment of history but there have been others, not quite as severe but ugly none-the-less. Madmen still exist today, as we write this, thousands are dying and we are at a loss to prevent it. Extremists are everywhere, hell bent on destruction of those that don't see as they do.

The premeditated destruction of people for no legitimate reason other than they felt they were useless to their regime.
I cannot understand how any group of people, especially the Germans, could even think of doing such atrocious acts. Even exterminating children!!!!!!
Despite the outcries of people all over and the slogan "Never Again" it still goes on. How much insanity or hate can a group of people have?
It got so bad that even many German troops had to be relieved of duty or killed themselves for what they had done, or what they had seen.

I've read countless books about this. It was probably like hell on earth in those camps. And the millions of people who didn't get the chance to make a difference in this world. I often think of my own problems and think, "You think you have it bad? Those peole died a horrible death, knowing at any minute theycould be murdered for their belief." It helps me put things in perspective when my little worries get me down.

The worst thing that happend to the mankind.

It's only sad, that most people think it only happened to the Jews. So many other nations were affected and so many other people killed.

I think it was a dark chapter in civilization and shouldn't be repeated although it has on a smaller scale a number of times.

very ugly chapter in human history, however during Stalins reign in USSR, 10+ millions were killed by their own ruler. I agree Hitler was a Monster. Stalin was worse.

What do I think about it? I thought it was a horrible, horrible thing. Most (and when I mean "most" I mean normal-thinking) people will tell you the same thing.
