It is part of the fuel pump/sending unit assembly (fuel module) in the fuel tank and considered "lifetime" or non serviceable. It will get replaced when (not if) the fuel pump eventually fails.

The metal fuel lines are the thickest (brake lines are smaller diameter) and about 5/16 inches in diameter. They are running along the frame rails from the engine to the fuel tank. If there's a fuel filter it will be somewhere along that metal fuel line, so simply follow the fuel line until you get to a 4 or 5 inch diameter fuel filter cylinder. If you plan on doing work under the truck, you can buy a set of Rhino Ramps (see link below) and a set of safety jack stands to get the truck up in the air even higher for better access.

Look again.
Drivers side inside the frame, just in front of the fuel tank.
Unless you have dual fuel tanks, then it's where the frame bends upward near the engine compartment.
