In Anatomy class you do a lot more then memorizing (yes that is a portion of the class) but we dissected animals and learned more about that process as well. Unless you have a degree no one is going to take you seriously, and every class I've taken I've learned something. You can try and see if a college or university will let you test out of a course but most science classes won't allow it. You can take the MCAT without a degree, however a medical school isn't going to accept you without an undergraduate degree.

Why are you so ignorant? I'm sorry if I want to know how I work, maybe you should stick to poetry or some **** like that.
Just because I understand how rod and cone cells work within the retina doesn't mean I don't also look at things and think they're beuatiful and marvel in what the world has within it.
I study anatomy because it is more interesting than anything else, because frankly I don't care what some **** wrote describing something, when I can see it for myself.

Because when something goes wrong, somebody has to know what happens when things are right and the eye is fairly simple and more visually obvious than, say, the stomach. Also, virtually all animals have eyes so studying them and their variety gives insight on a basic level to the variations and similarities in science without getting too dense too quickly.

Georgio may be angry, but he is right. You, like Keats, are confused by two different levels of analysis. Think about the aficionado of beautiful cars? Does he not know them in and out, yet appreciate their beauty? What gets into you all, or not gets in to you all that you are so confused?

Because generally people whom take anatomy literally have peoples lives in their hands every day and they need to know what everything is and where it is in order to treat them safely and effectively.

That's how you can be cured when you are sick... By looking at beautiful human images won't cure you from any diseases.

If you're a painter who paints what looks like something? Very important. Don't worry, it won't be missed in the U.S.
