from being in prison but when you and i go to prison, even if we have terminal cancer, they will still shut us down in the cell, maybe they take you to prison hospital, but never release you to go home and serve the rest of your sentence. one rule for the rich ?? tell me how you feel about this. i know this is a basketball section but still, this affects us all

robby g this affects us all because that means your civil liberties, your self worth as a human being, your unique persona, is all non_existent and inferior and subject to being violated unless you have mucho mucho cash. i hope for your own sake that you are rich.

it's another case where the hypocrisy of the judicial system is exposed... how can a situation like this be justified in the view of middle to lower class citizens?... if ANYTHING exudes preferable treatment to the rich who commit crimes... this really takes the cake... explain this one to the inner city

not exactly. even though paris hilton was released from jail, she will be confined in her house. she will be wearing an ankle bracelet so police can track where she is goin. since she agreed on being confined at home, her sentence was increased to 40 days instead of 20 days.

You've answered your own question. If you're rich and famous, you can get away with murder. What happened to the clause in the Constitution that declares us all to be equal? It doesn't read "all (men) are created equal, but celebrities are more equal than others."

I agree, although I'm still not sure why Paris Hilton is news. I don't think she's attractive at all, and she hasn't done anything. I know tons of people who party a lot, but they don't get famous from it...

it sux!!!!!! i have mental stress from being unemployed but i dont get any bill pardons!!!!!! i do not agree with special rules for the rich and famous!!! actually they should get harder sentances because of their role model status!!!!! Paris needs to go to regular jail and be put in regular population!!! that would definetly send a message!!!!!!!!!

She probobly paid off the guards to take her to the hospital, then paid off the doctor to sayshe was ill.

No.... this doesnt affect us all...... I could care less if the stupid Azz woman spends one night, or 3 years in jail.... it doesnt matter to me, and DOESNT affect me...
