Do you ever go back over your own answers and look to see if you have gotten thumbs up or thumbs down or do you just answer and never look back?
I say I don't care about the thumbs up/down feature, but I find myself a little happier when I get a lot of thumbs up *blush*. How about you?

I will go thru my answers sometimes to find out what the majority of people think. I do it. When I get thumbs down I just blow it off as a thumbs down troll is out there. Surely I wouldn't get a bad answer lol.

OMG! I am the same way. I don't really care about the thumbs up and down feature either. Yet, I am happy when I get a thumbs up. Doesn't it make you really mad when you get a thumbs down for no reason.

I don't go back and check to see if I got a thumbs up or down but it makes me feel good to get chosen as a best answer!

Sure, I think everyone likes to feel like they gave a good answer. I don't go back to see if I got thumbs up or down, but I do enjoy getting best answers. It makes me happy that maybe I helped someone.

If I've written an especially trenchant comment, I will look to see whether that was noticed by others. But I'm gettin' over that habit.

I haven't even looked at mine....I read lots of A's and give the thumbs up or down..thumbs up, more than anything :)

i am obsessed with looking back on my answers looking for approval! I also want to make friends with some of the people on answers, but no one want to allow IM so i can never contact them. I work with my dad and i am a mother so i have very little interaction with friends (our lives are too busy) so i look for approval and popularity on answers. It keeps me in contact with the world. I know it sounds strange, but i have little social life anymore now that i am a mom. I find sanctuary in answers, and it makes me feel smart!
