Nicole R., just now stirring from her nap, looked at me
and said, "You know, if they'd REALLY wanted
her to suffer, they'd have sent her to a University."

Even though staying at home can be a punishment for so people and I don't know the terms of her probation, but that is like placing Mickey Mouse on house arrest at Disneyland.

I guaratee she comes out with own line of ankle bracelets. The same way celebrities make rehab fashionable, house arrest will be to.

I don't think it would of made a difference because all her friends and family are probably saying that this is all ridiculous and the rest of us are you saying you need to pay for your crime. If I had detention I would much rather have it at her house than mine.

Well, in jail, the poor thing didn't have her cell phone, her TV, her blackberry... probably ate food that isn't good enough.... probably had to sleep on a mattress that others had used...

Now, she'll really get punished. Get all of her privileges back, have access to more booze & drugs, have her friends over. good food, good room... But, don't forget, the poor, poor dear will have to wear that ugly ankle bracelet. Now, THAT'S real punishment.

YES! I saw that she was released early becuase of a medical problem, and i was so pissed, seriously if it was anyone else nothing would have been done....i suspect a lot of planning went into this "unforseen medical problem" and probably a lot of cash too, this house detention is going to be nothing for her.

Yes, I think she should have to do her jail time just like anyone else would have to. It makes me angry, too, that just because you are rich and famous the laws don't seem to apply. If it was you or me in there and we got sick, they'd take us to the infirmary and then back to our cell! It's not fair. She is sickening.

I think she should have stayed in jail. How else will she learn not to DRINK AND DRIVE. nothing else they have done has helped. I am so sick of these famous people getting away with everything including murder in some cases.
