Although on the outside it seems the other way round, the truth is that females have a far more COMMON tendency to be cruel, brutal, evil and tough. Exceptions exist, of course.

Tell me what you think, guys and ladies.

No we are not. Just look at the crimes men commit, and the jail populations, and I think it will bear out the fact that women are less violent than men.

define brutal.
i would define it as violence, torture, murder, rape.
under that definition, your statement "the truth is that females have a far more COMMON tendency to be cruel, brutal, evil and tough" is utter nonsense (many, many more men commit violent crimes than women).... come to think of it, it's not "truth" anyway, it's your OPINION.

Cobblestonehero-that's a good way to put it (minus the biyotch thing). My husband does that sort of thing and it is so enfuriating.

Oh! So THAT'S why there are so many more Battered Men's Shelters than womens shelters. LOL. Violence breeds violence. Oftentimes, misogyny hails from the cruelty of a woman, who was treated herself cruelly by a man. The cycle continues until someone rises above it.

I can't stand girls who constantly make undercutting, 60% truthful "JOKES" and sometimes you want to shake them and say "Look, your jokes aren't funny. They are HURTFUL but then you have the copout of saying 'lighten up, i was just kidding'". If you make a remark for fun and that person could even REMOTELY see it as true, especially the people in the room around you knowing there is truth to your "joke" then DON'T SAY IT!!!! biotches

Yes and No. I'd say they are more covertly brutal... They will not generally be the most open with cruelty, but if you cross the line, watch out! They can hold a grudge better than most men.

I think i need to see the study conducted that states this.

the inherent flaws in this statement are numerous and I really don't have he energy to deconstruct your assumptions right now.

suffice it to say, you have managed to ignore cultural difference, personality difference, and a vast majority of the history of women in this world in making this statement.

And She knows, because She warns him, and Her instincts never fail,
That the Female of Her Species is more deadly than the Male.

These 'exceptions' exist only in cases of extreme personality disorders, or perhaps-fantasy.

As Bertie would say, "The F is deadlier than the M."

Seriously, I think it's more of an individual thing.
