First of all, there are liberal Republicans and conservative Democrats so the parties don't always even agree with themselves.

There are many thousands of bills that get passed fairly easily in Congress though, with support from both sides (child pornography laws, etc.). Mainly, though, the contentious ones are the ones that make the news.

Safety of America? But neither can agree on how to do it.
Keeping the US political machine a two party system (this means more money for each of them).

I'm not sure what else they can agree on.

A lot of them like college football. I am sure most of them hate the New York Yankees (except for the ones from New York that is). I am sure none of them would turn down being comp'd Super Bowl tickets.

ummm....I can't think of any. Repblicans are for winning the war...Democrates are for withdrawl...Republicans are for lower taxes and reforming the tax laws to not take so much out of the economy...democrates want to raise taxes and leave the tax laws alone. Republicans are for Freedom of Religion...Democrates are against religious freedom. Basically, anytime a Republican stands up and says "I'm for this..." A democrate stands up and says "I disagree".

I think that's really the only thing that everyone in either party agrees on.
