maybe having the car buffed and waxed will help as long as the scratch isn't deep

Touch up Spray Paint is Available At Most Automotive retailers.
Get Your Paint Code (or take it to them And Let them get the code)
Get A Spray bomb of touch up, Masking tape And Some 320 grit Automotive sand paper, Rubbing compound And A buffer
Mask Above and Below the SCRATCH 1-2''.
Lightly sand the area In between(very lightly just remove the shine)
Spray it in with your Matched Paint ( Check in small unnoticable area b4 you start any thing to be sure its a match)
Remove Masking tape (after A little time passes)
Allow to dry completly
Use Rubbing compound to take down the little edge from the taped off area.

Take it to a detail shop or bodyshop and see if the scratch can be wet sanded and buffed out....a lot of times, if it's not too deep, they can get most of it out if not all. Or claim on your insurance and have it repainted.
