Prevailing doesn't require 'capacity'. You either do or don't prevail. Adversity can be high or low so whether you defeat it can depend on it's relative strength. So, with the best will in the world you can only prevail when your strength or courage is higher than the opposition. I feel that your question would be better worded by asking 'What is your attitude to prevailing over adversity?' If I were asked that I would say very high since I always try to defeat obstacles. However that doesn't mean I will, just that I always try.

My capacity to prevail over adversity is proportional to my willingness to have a steadfast attachment to the God of my understanding. He will allow and guide me through all kinds of difficulties for my maturing, and i will overcome "by the blood of the Lamb." The Bible, Revelation.

When adversity srikes I kick it into high gear. I've always prevailed in situations where I felt I absolutely needed to.
