cube root of 27 = 3 since 3*3*3 = 27

3sqrt(18) + sqrt(2) =
3sqrt(9)sqrt(2) + sqrt(2)
3 * 3sqrt(2) +sqrt2=
9sqrt2 + sqrt2 =

5 sqrt of 8 is probably an answer to a problem becuase the sqrt of 8 cannot be a whole number. first , memorize your square roots that can turn into whole numbers.
sqrt of 1 is 1 1x1=1
sqrt of 4 is 2 2x2=4
sqrt of 9 is 3 3x3=9
sqrt of 16 is 4 4x4=16
sqrt of 25 is 5 5x5=25
sqrt of 36 is 6 6x6=36
sqrt of 49 is 7 7x7=49
sqrt of 64 is 8 8x8=64
sqrt of 81 is 9 9x9=81
sqrt of 100 is 10 10x10=100
sqrt of 121 is 11 11x11=121
sqrt of 144 is 12 12x12=144
A sqrt with a whole number is an answer to a multiplication problem where two identical numbers go into it.

Sometimes, there are exponents with square roots.
An exponent is expressed with a small number on the end of the square root. Have your teacher or friend explain to you about exponents.
this means the square root of 27 by the third power.
3 square root 18+ square root of 2.
18- 9x2= 18. Since 9 is a square root, whole number and that whole number is 3 You will write it down as 3 the square root of 2.
You cannot do anything to the square root of 2 when adding or subtracting.
Your answer will be : 3 square root of 2 + square root of 2= 3 and square root of 2.

5 sqrt 8 = 5 sqrt 4 x 2 = 5 X 2 sqrt 2 = 10 sqrt 2

The second one is a cube root. Cube root of 27 is 3. So the second problem will be 3 + sqrt 2

1) 5 sq rt 8 is "5 *sq rt 8"

2) When small 3 is on the end of the sq rt and 27 inside it please read it as "cube root 27"

You know that 3*3*3 = 27 and therefore cube root 27=3. Meaning of it is if you have 27 number of small a-unit cubes what maximum size of cube it will make and answer to it is it could make cube of 3-units (length, breadth and height, which are equal)

3)

3 sq rt 18 + sq rt 2 ......................(1)

3 sq rt 18 = 3* sq rt (9*2). Further 9 being 3^2 you may take it out of sq rt sign as 3*3* sq rt 2 = 9* sq rt 2

Then equation ......(1) change as 9* sq rt 2 + sq rt 2

Further simplifying is sq rt 2 *(9+1) = sq rt 2 *10

Answer is-----> sq rt 2*10 . ( better you stop at this answer)!

Regards!
