the same type of thing that might happen if a man got hit in the temple. Also, they are located in the same place as they are on a man.

It depends on how hard she's hit. She could get anything from nothing at all (a light tap) to a bruise, bleeding or swelling in the brain, develop a seizure disorder, and even death (if hit hard enough).
The temple is the part on the side of your head, near the outside corner of your eye.

Any really hard blow to the head will kill. Put your fingers on your eyebrows and move them outward and you will feel your temples.

They are on your skull beside your eyes.
Get hit hard enough and it could kill you. It is a soft spot leading to the brain.
