It depends on the circumstances. If I know them very well or they're hurting then I like to give them a REAL hug. If its a stranger or just "someone" I'd prefer a brick wall..

Depends. I would think if the moment is ginger and romantic, and tender soft hug would be appropriate. If its friends having a good time, I am a bear hugger.
