I can find Dirty _Dream_ by Thunder, but not Dirty Love (that's a Frank Zappa song). There are also three albums of what appears to be rap from an artist named "Slade" (The Freestyle Kings, Revenge, Slade Collection 01), and several other songs from other artists with the last name of Slade, but none that I can find by the title of "Run, Runaway". They do have "Run Run Away" on the Slade Remade tribute album (but it's credited to Various Artists), and "Run Runaway" on the Headbangers Vol. 21 karaoke album. As for AC/DC, they have _one_ song on iTunes, which is Big Gun on the Last Action Hero songtrack. As has been mentioned, iTunes does not have every song ever recorded, though they do have a substantial library. Sometimes the artists hold out and prevent their music from being legally acquired for distribution, and other times it might be their label trying to maintain a stranglehold on the distribution channels.
Here's the good news. If you have any of those songs on CD, or can borrow those CDs from a friend, you can always just rip them into iTunes yourself. I have never once purchased a song from iTunes, and I have a stack of CDs that have never been listened to because all I ever did with them was rip the tracks straight into iTunes and stick the CD on a shelf afterwards.

Nope, AC/DC isn't on iTunes because Mac couldn't get the rights to their songs. You also can't buy Beatles songs on there. There are a lot of essentials missing on there because iTunes has to acquire the rights to those songs, and some artists don't want to give them up.

there is no "secret search." If you dont find them in the search bar then they arent on there. iTunes doeesnt have every song ever made so you will have a hard time finding older songs.
Try bearshare.
