One example of an uncountable amount of examples of incompetency.

Hilary of Obama????
That is not relevant to this question.
All politicians have contributed to the mess that is the US government.
Both Democrat and Republican are corrupt
entities.

all governments are inherently incompetent as well as inefficient, and the US is no exception.
but it's not just the current administration with the poor response to katrina, the mismanagement of post-saddam iraq, and the many other failures. most failures today (immigration, security, emergency response, oil prices, education, pollution, health care, energy independence, social security, etc) started with previous administrations going back decades.
our generation was brought up with the attitude of over reliance on government and a sense of entitlement. but the truth is you just can't expect anything from your government. they can't help you and you must depend on yourself especially in the case of an emergency.
ask not what your country can do for you...because it can't.

I wish it was just incompetent. I think government has strayed so far away from the founding father's original concepts that even the 9/11 attack did not wake the politicians up. And the people neglect the right to self govern by not voting or being swayed by high priced political advertising instead of investing time to research issues and candidates. A movie featuring Goldie Hawn titled "Protocol" had some of the above mentioned observations. Another was "Wag The Dog."

most of those governments that began as democratic, have now been so compromised because they are laden down with secret deals they are now too burdened to act effeciently what is required is a review of the capitalist and democratic systems and work towards a new philosophy based upon evolutionary democracy or Coopracy yes the spelling is correct. Coopracy is evolutionary democracy it means the positive agreement with anothers insight it is a means of intellectualising debates it also means that one day when we have all grown passed the weapon culture that feeds off so much fear then we may vote for ideas not idealists

Here's the BEST immigration plan: Spot checks of ALL employers to see if they have illegal aliens working for them. FIRST offense if they do: the workers are deported on the spot, and told they will face severe criminal charges if they return. And the employer is seriously fined. SECOND offense: Mandatory serious jail time for the employer.
We need to OUST (deport) every single ILLEGAL alien. Quickly and expeditiously.
And RESCIND any citizenship status for any children born in the USA **to** illegal aliens, with immediate deportation of them as well.
Once back in their homeland, former illegals then should have the opportunity to access the SAME means for seeking citizenship that others have. AFTER a 5-year-long penalty period imposed upon them for their having been in the USA illegally in the first place.

Vote out all who take actions that are contrary to their Oaths of Office.
Too many have no respect for our Constitution which they are sworn to uphold.
If they do not enforce the laws that are on the books, they have violated their Oath of Office!

They don't stop the illegals because we need them. Even with 30 million of them here we still don't have enough jobs. But I agree they are lame
