If so do I need to uninstall the old one first or does it overwrite it

Yes it is, and read it's instructions, the site WILL TELL YOU.

yeah u need to uninstall the 1st one. But before you do, I just want to tell you NOT to. I got all excited about 2007 edition & it SUCKS. For some weird reason, The update doesn't work. They've disabled "Custom Scan" for free users & the full scan takes even LONGER. It takes more disk space too. Try it if you want but save the old installation package for later. I bet you'll want it back.

Yes it is but since it is newly released, I am going to wait for a month or so before downloading it so that any bugs can be worked out that weren't found in testing. Here was the press release about it.

Lavasoft, the makers of Ad-Aware SE, do make a product called Ad-Aware 2007. If you want to be sure that you are getting their program, and not a "fake", go to http://lavasoft.com to download it.

Yes it is and it upgrades the old version I did it and it worked flawlessly, be sure to get it from lavasoft not some 3rd party vendor.... cheers
