i dont know about suicide but some good bands that talk about real life situations are rise against and anti flag are good bands i like because they're punk and talk about how the government screws and with other people and that type of stuff, some of the bands that are not depressing but not bright either would be HIM, the used, senses fail(to me thier song your cute when you scream is about revenge while the priest and the matador talk about some guy dying) , jimmy eat world, and a song that to me sounds about neglect would be roses for the dead by funeral for a friend.
