I often times have difficulty putting my thoughts into words and am asked a question by the answerer. Is there a acceptable method for me to respond?

The basic problem is that you don't think clearly. You admit you don't express your thoughts clearly, but for some reason it's not obvious to you that expressing yourself clearly is the only effective response to people questioning your meaning. For example, in your own question here, what do you mean by "acceptable"? Are you trying to get them to stop answering your questions with questions without hurting their feelings? You're not being clear even here.

Think through what you want to ask very carefully. If you leave out important details people will ask you questions.
