A few things, yes.

The worst was as a child, I fell off a tree. Someone had kindly placed barbed wire all about its trunk for no apparent reason. One of these barbes slid into my lower leg and - believe me or not - actually suspended me, by the ankle, fully inverted, with my fingers - no less - than about an inch from the ground (just where I could not get at it!)

Thankfully, a friend hoisted me off the thing and, subsequentally, I have never been into fishing!

And forever since - to put it in the words of the great reggea poet, Mikey Smith: "Me na go an' sit 'pon a wall, like 'umpy Dump'y"!

You hold tight, sister!

(PS: my lovely, slender leg healed-up perfectly)

This BabyBoomer fell again-
Early Monday evening; off the upper deck to the lower deck. I just stepped too close to the edge while watering the veggies in the Earth Boxes. Twisted left ankle, top same foot tender & ended up on my left knee (took skin off) & right shoulder hit side of the house.

I thought this old gal could walk off the soreness; but it's a little red around my knee. I decided I need one of those "I've fallen but can't get up thingies" since I couldn't get anyone to hear me by hollering & banding the garden against the edge of the house.

I'm too vain for that; am cosidering bells, whistles, etc.

You may laugh; I'm fine really! (;-)

I've fallen off a quarry cliff which was about a 100 ft. But my fall was broken and I landed on a chalk ledge 5ft from the top. I never have been in such a predicament. I managed to climb up the chalk face and onto firm ground.

OMG! yes. this one time at band camp...
no i'm just kidding lol. but, for real though, one time i was getting on a swing (the seat was the black leather or flexible kind you see at a park) and the seat was just the slightest bit wet and there was a kinda big, kinda little puddle under it and the chains were really slippery, so i got on it, tried to adjust myself where i was comfy and i lost my balance and fell off of the swing right into the MUDDY puddle! and I was wearing overalls(this was a long time ago). I was there cuz the daycare I went to took a little field trip over to the park. and yes, of course, when I fell it was in front of a KINDA cute guy, who liked me, Dustin. and he was a bit older than me. and he started snickering at me and I was so embarrassed I started crying and ran to the girl that took us. OMG!

oh and one time i fell UP the stairs. actually come to think of it... a few times.

Yes. The wagon, my trolley, my tree, etc.

Oh, and I got shot off the top of a 7ft tower in a game of paintball. No bruises though - the joys of knowing how to breakfall from MA training.

I fell off the front porch when I was getting my first kiss when I was 16. I should have known my love life would be doomed.
