Truthfully, it can be an issue in a marriage...I have always made moer money than my husband, so how we resolved it is, he pays the mortgage and I pay everything else, and i don't flaunt what I make.
We are goning on our 23rd. year of marriage...it's not an issue now.

some men are, maybe because they are not confident enought in themselves to respect the fact that the woman just makes more money. Some men could care less. I personally have been in that situation and it did cause problems that I was more successful. But a mature male would love that fact.

I think that most men believe that women secretly look down at him, and disrespects him, if he makes less money than she does. He thinks that she will grow to resent the fact that she is responsible for paying most of the bills, and that sooner or later she will leave him for someone else who makes more.
