Is there an aftermarket system that can provide vehicle stability assist on a car that doesnt have it?

Or would you just have to figure out how to retrofit those components that feature it onto another car?

Couldnt you tie them in the same way?

I doubt that you could. that system is so integrated into the car, it would be cheaper just to buy a brand new one with it. i dont think it could even be done. that is, equiping an old car with the new evs technology.

Our family car (I don't drive) is a large 4wd. We MUST have that off road capability because of our location and the locations of our friends. We have a Great Wall X240, cheapest car in it's class but ironically has a higher safety rating than cars that are $10 000 more expensive! If you can get one I heartily recommend them. There are only two things I've found with this years model I don't like (we have the 2011 model). The first one is it is a bit sluggish until you get going. But that's understandable as it only has a small motor. The second one is the rear passenger door MUST be slammed to close it. I have a few friends with them and on every single one of their cars that door doesn't close properly without being slammed.

No retro fit available because it uses the air bag and steering angle sensors and antilock braking system. The ESS or VDC is totally incorporated into the cars system.
