My husband told me before he died that he didn't want a funeral and he didn't want any crying. So I threw a party instead where all our friends could come and share stories.

Actually, yes. My pap. He was a really great guy and the center of our family. We had a party and everyone wore one of his hats, we made a fire in his outdoor fireplace and we drank and told our favorite pap stories. It was a good memory for such a sad time.
