Be careful as it could turn to gangrene. See a doctor immediately. It could be just a bad bruise something might even be broken. Go to a doctor and see what they say.

depending on how deep the epidermus / muscle was damaged, the bruise will last long because it takes that long to reach the surface of the skin. Some go away in a few days, others are so deep they don't even blossom for a few days and then last for ages while they heal and fade.
Yes the greeish yellow area means they are just about healed.
blessings :)

Yes green in usually it's final color. HOWEVER, I had a yellowish green bruise on my stomach from falling forward onto a saddle horn, and it lasted almost a year at that stage. I am glad it finally went away, I was getting very worried.
I'm sure yours will clear up soon though.

feels like a bruise to me, I used to get them all the time from fencing. i'm user-friendly and bruise actual, so maximum impacts confirmed up. green is between the organic colours for a healing bruise.

yeah darlin, it turns a shade of yellow and slightly green as it heals. For faster healing, grab a 12 pack and meet me at the hot tub, but leave LeRoy behind. He is envious of my chicken fried steak.

I got punched in the eye in high school and had a horrible black eye. I'm thinking it went from black and blue to green and then to yellow before it disappeared.

its on its way but it will get that ugly yellow color next. "smile" it sounds funny but try rubbing it gently now and again to get the blood circulating.
