I do think that Paris Hilton should have stayed in jail and finished out her sentence. She will never, however, be treated like anybody else.. she is a Hilton after all. If house arrest was an option before then why didn't the judge just sentence her to that instead of jail time. I'll tell you what more than likely happened. Her little spoiled, rich *** got up in jail and probably freaked out. Started crying, and showing symptoms of with drawl..so her "people" came running to her defense claiming she was having a mental breakdown. Hence the need for "medical advice". Lmao.. How sad. She goes out and acts up. But, will more than likely never be held accountable for her actions fully. In this day and age, that's a sad thing.

No, the poor dear is suffering from a serious medical malady - "richitis" and terminal favoritism. Anyone else doesn't have the resources to contract such serious conditions. Most prisoners earn time off for good behavior while serving their sentence - she earned a reduction of 22 days before ever beginning her sentence (guess the good behavior was not driving on a suspended license for the third time since her trial, not receiving a DUI and spreading the wealth to all us poor slobs by shopping relentlessly on Rodeo Drive) At home confinement will be pure torture - besides, when she goes out and gets caught there will be no real ramifications for the violation. Get use to it, the rich are always priviledged and are treated differently, with favoritism, compared to all of the "ordinary, hard working masses"

Yes, she's in her own cell 23 hrs a day, and the guards are going to be watching over her more than they would any other inmate. So she might be a target because of her celebrity? Well there's an old saying...If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

People who have more than they need, have a target on their back these days. By virtue of this they cannot be treated the same. I don't like it either, but put fair in one hand and unfair in the other, and see which one fills up first. Sorry.

I think that she is a normal person, and should have as much time as needed, and a liscence taken away. You know that this isn't the first time she was caught drunk driving, she has done it before, and done it too many times. She was actually driving on no licence at all.
