Each company has its own rules on whether you get benefits, including vacation. Paid time off isn't mandated by federal law - it goes by company policy.

Most jobs do give paid vacation to full-timers. Maybe you need to look for a different employer.

In most states, the employer doesn't have to give you anything. They write the rules, it doesn't matter if you work 100 hrs. a week, but no one is forcing you to stay there. I'd look for another job.

you should still be able to get a vacation no matter how you are paid- especially if you put in 50 hours a week.
Call prepaid legal and ask about this in your state. I have a feeling if you threaten them with hearing from your lawyer, they will give you time off.
