The Shining, is defenitely the best, how to forget Nicholson tearing that door apart, and his wife reaction. All the ghosts in the hotel, errr creepy
and in the other hand Blair Witch Project, most people found this movie stupid, but back then I guess it was a quite original and scary movie. Loved the last sequence where all of them die.

I watch many horror movies but none of them are scary, I don't really feel that they are soo scary. Here's the list I watched and loved:
1-The Others
2-The Ring
3-Chucky
4-Bride of Chucky
5- Seed of Chucky
6-The Watcher in the Woods
7-Silent Hill
8-Hocus Pocus
9-Snakes on a Plane
10- To Sir, with Love( aka My Teacher or My Teacher's Mercy)
11- Child's Play
12- Doll Graveyard

I think the Shining is the scariest movie ever. It's just a steady stream of scaryness, but in a way that is truly scary. Also, this is just me, but the Twin Peaks movie scared me so bad I can't even look at a picture of anything that has to do with it. I don't think it was that scary to most people though.

The Exorcist!!! Hands down the best horror film of all time and all the new films are still trying to catch up. I watched it as a child and as dumb as this sounds it still makes the lil hairs on my next stand up. I lived by some train tracks as a child and every time one came I had to get out of my bed and hide, b/c my bed would shake...lol SCARED the CRAP out of me!!! And now I watch it and it's not that bad but omg when I was younger I was too scared to eat anything green b/c I was afraid I'd puke green and it'd be the demons...lol But that's just me...

God I love horror movies so it's hard to pick just one! I am a particular fan of the Nightmare On Elm Street movies though.
