helped a 12yo girl that has serious hearing problems with her English (she's just starting, so I allow myself offer help even though my English is rather poor), made a cake for my dad (it's his birthday), did a lot of housework, gave my seat on the bus to an old man, made a lady at the news stand not feel too bad for giving me back change that had some money missing ... listened to my boyfriend's problems at work, and didn't get angry even though he didn't do what he promised to do for me (it was important to me, and not a big thing for him to do ... sigh). I'm just abut to go out have coffee with a friend that's being really difficult lately (his girlfriend left him a month ago after 5 years of being together, and he's still in desperate need of cheering up) ... sigh .. I'm not being nice .. I'm just being terribly stupid!

I smiled nicely and said 'It's OK, don't worry,' when the elderly assistant in the music shop wandered aimlessly about for 10 minutes or so to try and find out the price of an item. My teeth are ground to fine powder now, though.

I had some friend that lived on a military post and they ran out of money. I took two hundred dollars out of my savings and took my girlfriend shopping for food. -- Recently I have been going over to my mom's house to clean it for my mom and brother. My mom had a stroke before my dad died and she can't clean the house. My brother lives with her and takes care of her. He has a job and is very overwhelmed. I go over every Sunday and any other day I can get the van from my husband.
