It was a protest against tax. If that's a lapse so be it : )
On a positive note, it made us coffee drinkers which I am thankful for (not that I dislike tea but coffee just has that certain something).

nice caroline, everyone hates the cops until someone is in their house raping their daughter. ive been to the middle east 4 times, iraq twice. until youve been there dont tell me how this is going and wether or not the iraq people want us there or not. dont believe everything you see or hear on tv, i know you didnt say anything about it but im willing to bet you take that side of the discussion. when you convoy through the towns of iraq and see the children singing and crying because they are so happy to see you, then you tell me were not doing a good thing

An outrage commited by crooks in the USA? USA? A civilised country? Nice people but so civilised they are talking of dropping nuclear weapons on innocent Iranians!
Their Government has declared torture as legal. Civilised country? LOL. (PS I am neither a Muslim or from abroad).

civilised country, what about the original inhabitants who were slaughtered because they were savages,but in the end who was really the savage, take today good old us of a got the worst records for muder rape bank robberies etc etc in the world you think you are civilised i think not

We can bet sum it u[ in today's language by saying it was an expression of discontent brought about by "freedom fighters" or "insurgents." The term depends upon whom you listen to and which side of the fence they sit on.
