Any ideas on why hard working americans make a mistake they get locked up for years and rich twitts like Paris who never worked a day in her live are allowed to laugh in our faces (the same people that made her rich) do what they want and serve 3 days in jail. My son broke his probation by smoking a joint hes in jail 3 months later....justice..omg if your not rich you dont deserve to live.

No, just because their rich they should not be able to be above the law. The sad fact is that some times (not all the time by any stretch of the imagination) the do get off very easy, or at least those are the ones that we here about the most.

if you're rich then you can pay for the best attorneys (who cost a mint) who know the loopholes.
But, it also depends on the offense, of if it's a first time offense, depends on how packed the jail is, and if the person is a security risk, or has the money to pay to get someone out of jail, or if they have been good. Seems also these days has to do with health of the person and health risk to others.

If you rich and famous and people like you it looks bad for the authorities to punish you because then people feel like they're picking on the civilians, no matter what they deserve. I find it frustating to, but no one has the right to tell you you don't deserve to live, just ignore them eventually they'll go away. Maybe we should start a committee to put famous people in jail...just kiddding.

well... this is fair. i mean she payed the bail. it doesn't matter of your rich or poor you still have to go to jail. but everyone gets a chance to pay bail. and that was a very rude comment about if your rich you don't deserve to live. guess what hun. lifes not fair. i don't feel bad about your son because he is going to learn his lesson in jail. rich comes with work.paris's parents worked to get all that money and they chose to give it to paris. they could have kept it and paris could be middle class just like you. and something else: if your rich it doesn't make you snobby. paris would have a bad personality if she wasn't rich.

it fairly is a dumb regulation to start with, that for the time of easy terms some are even paying interest to, and the law enforcement officers are no longer implementing the regulation besides. there is already a regulation for distracted using on the books and it might have been amended to contain cellular telephones.

NO but obviously money talks and they are often above the law. Blame the law even more than the celebrity. They are adept at finding excuses and ways to circumvent justice (the law and the perpetrator of it). Do I sound bitter? You bet...and so do many other law-abiding Americans such as myself.

Its about a whole lot more than money but yeah, that's a major factor too. The court system seems to be different for Hollywierd. Maybe if she was in the Midwest, she would have had the book thrown at her.

It appears as though they are... Definitely in this case.
However, throughout time we have example after example of money and fame allowing those that have to be treated better than those that have not.
What goes around, comes around? I sure hope so, but the wait is killing me.
