ok im going to bransen tonight and tomarrow im going to silver doller city and theres a rollercoaster called the powterkeg i love roller coasters so much but my cousin is scared to go on it and i really really want them to enjoy it but he thinks too much about it what do i say to get him to ride it???

I have rode the powder keg.....just tell them its extremly fun....he will love it...the hardest part is just stepping on the rollar coaster...once he does this he will love it!!

I used to be terrified of roller coasters when I was younger. Some people say closing your eyes makes it better, but I find it's better to keep your eyes open because you know what to expect. Ever since I stopped closing my eyes, I found scary rides much more tolerable. Also, tell your cousin to take deep breaths, that helps. When I was 11 MY cousin wanted me to go on this brand new roller coaster and I didn't want to go. He ended up physically picking me up and strapping me into the seat. It sounds pretty mean, but I'm glad he did, otherwise, I really would have missed out. Good luck!

Here's a couple tips I gave another person the other night. Start off by riding the middle of the roller coaster train, it's not as bumpy and you won't see the drop or feel the whip effect experienced in the back of the train. They can try riding it with their eyes closed to get used to the feeling of the ride, they can also close their eyes at the drops, but over time, they will get used to the sensations and soon they will ride all the way with their eyes open (and even holding their arms up!)

Really, just go to the web site and look at the list of rides, as someone else suggested. Work your way up from the little coasters to the bigger ones. If you are too lazy to do that, I feel sorry for you.

Put your head down, sit in the middle of the roller coaster between two people If you can . . . and hold your crotch.

You can promise to buy him something for going on the ride with you. Tell him not to look down, close his eyes, and do not stress you are going to be alright.

Tell him to close his eyes and relax...also don't let him see what the coaster looks like...Works for me ...
