Yes they should be treated the same as us. What I'd like to know is how come Paris Hilton didn't get put straight into jail. If it would have been joe public they would have gone straight to jail. How comes she milked going to jail for what seemed an eternity before she went inside.

Of course they shouldn't and only the ones with lots of money or who are popular at the time are. Forget Paris, I always knew she wouldn't do much time if any, but look at Lindsay Lohan, she's been pulled over how many times and hasn't been to jail yet!
Seems the only celebs who do any jail time are the hip hop/rap artists. I mean come on, Lil Kim was sentenced to one year and one day and had to serve 10 months and all she did was withhold info/commit perjury. Paris Hilton receives 45 days for driving on a suspended license (that she got for a DUI) and it gets reduced to 29 and she serves 4?
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) should be storming the courts!

Your already idolizing the media with the aid of portraying Michael out to be the undesirable guy once you do no longer even comprehend him. the reason your doing it incredibly is via what the media instructed you. The media can tell the widespread public something. Its the persons option to come to a decision on what to beleive. Its no longer immature. Its a decision human beings make on the grounds that's what they experience is there decision. you desperate to dislike MJ with the aid of calling him jacko, does that make you immature? i do no longer comprehend why human beings such as you hate Michael. What has Michael finished to you? All he ever did replaced into help human beings.

Of course they should.
They are obviously much, much better than we are or will ever be.
they have perfect teeth, a wonderful marriage, superior children and they don't even need to go to the bathroom!
In fact, we should just let them walk all over us so their feet never have to touch the filthy ground.

Last time I checked, they were human too. Which means they're subject to the same foibles & imperfections. No, they shouldn't be treated any differently than anyone else. Other than the golden toilets they use, they're just like us!

I don't agree with you about they should be treated different, now your next line I agree. Like the saying always say "do the crime, do the time".

Its your choice to treat them differently. How exactly are they treated differently?
For example, do you mean they should be treated differently by giving them more privacy laws?
Should they be treated as ordinary people?
They do stuff normal people do, its those people who see celebs as non-human that elevate their status.

They should NOT be treated any differently than any one else who has broken the law.
You do the crime, you do the time. You do it in jail, not in your $2 million luxurious home.
