Sir, I would probably suggests the following;
- travel other places with your spouse (that would be the most memorable thing to do).. go on a cruise..etc.
- do volunteer work in your community (if you are willing & happy to do that)- other people would appreciate your time & help.
- spend some time with your children & grandchildren on family holidays.
or
- at least try to do EXTREME sports such as skydiving, handgliding, etc.
(I strongly DON'T recommend this type of activity especially IF you have a medical problems, but if you don't have any & want to try something NEW and ADVENTUROUS. why not give it a shot?)
these are just the following things I heard from my previous professors who had retired from teaching.
I'm only 26, but It's kinda worry me about what would I do by the time I reached that age. Hope this helps.

Part of the problem with retirement is that after 6 months or so confidence is lost and if you are not careful life becomes meaningless You have a lifetime of experience not all of it good but you have much to offer. do something for a school, hospital or charity and when you are trusted not to be a fly by night will find you get so much more out of it by way of personal satisfaction than you would believe. travel if you want and do all those other things you've wanted to do. all your life but do not engage in "passtimes" you aare not waitin g for the undertaker.You are a coffin dodger be active and it won't catch up for a long time. Happy 100th

Travel, Holidays , gardening, fishing, birdwatching, Volunteer to be a hospital driver for people that need lifts to/from hospital, help in an old peoples home, help in a charity shop. you could do some of those things a couple days a week, then get a hobby,

If you are not as fit as you would like to be then join a gym and from now on start to lead a more healthy life. 45 years of working must have taken their toll.
